Galette des Rois/Epiphany

It is time again to celebrate Epiphany and share and enjoy the delicious galette des rois (see previous post for explanation).

If you want your very own I will be happy to make it for you, same conditions as last year.

* I arrived home from work on Valentines Day to find the fire built, the table set and fabulous aromas wafting from my kitchen. My boyfriend surprised me with an amazing private dinner prepared by Chef Anne. Every detail, from the fresh baked bread to the lemon tart dessert, was wonderful. Many of the ingredients came from Anne’s organic garden. Anne, a delightful lady, seemingly effortlessly prepared this incredible meal, and served it with little details about what we were eating as well as some interesting tidbits about her background. Towards the end of the meal she announced that the dessert was awaiting us and she would disappear so we could enjoy the rest of the evening. She left the kitchen spotless.
